Re : Eliminating allergy causing foods decreases PE?

That is very interesting to me, especially since I have a sun allergy and conceived in July...

But I guess I wonder, are more pregnancies usually conceived in the summer anyway, so would that skew the numbers a bit for the study?

Re : 2nd pregnancy after HELLP?

<t>Ok everybody, I also want to know-if you did have a successful 2nd pregnancy, how long did you wait after your 1st pg to get pg again?<br/> <br/> Also, I'm curious, if you have PE, do they put you on mag-sulf right away, or do you have to get to a certain severity for that to happen?<br/> <br/> I...

Re : Does severity of Class=higher risk for reocurrance

<t>With the Duggars..I imagine that she's been pregnant so much that the uterus maybe is getting tired. That's my guess anyway. I heard also about the "staying pregnant" or that pregnancies in close intervals can help prevent it...have any studies been done to confirm that, or is it just speculation...

Re : Underlying disorders of preeclampsia

My ob said "I probably didn't need to have the bloodwork done".....I don't know why he said that :( I'm going to ask a peri next week.
My bp went down after delivery...and I don't have any blood or immune problems that I know of, but I would just feel better to know for sure..

Re : Does severity of Class=higher risk for reocurrance

I thought that HELLP and Pre-ewere pretty much the same disease, but HELLP was more severe. According to this web site, is that not the case? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18374411
I am confused!

Re : Does severity of Class=higher risk for reocurrance

<t>So have there been tests done then that say for certain aspirin and lovenox/heparin don't help? (or has it just not been tested so it's not proven yet?) I just read about so many people's posts on here who have subsequent pregnancies and use those things and have success....but maybe it's just be...

Re : Is HELLP similar to allergies?

<t>I was thinking about what you said about the maternal response not being strong enough..and this may have absolutely no relation whatsoever...but for this pregnancy..I had NO morning sickness at all. In fact, it didn't even really feel like I was pregnant. (I have nothing to compare it to, but I ...

Re : Does severity of Class=higher risk for reocurrance

Caryn, do you know if when they say these stats that "Women usually get it later and less severe in subsequent pregnancies"-is that based on cases where women didn't change anything in the subsequent pregnancies? (didn't use blood thinners or aspirin)...I'm just curious..
