Re : Advice Needed (Cross Post)

<t>Ugh, that's ridiculous! After your history with preeclampsia I don't understand why they would deny it! I hated seeing the military docs, our hospital did things SO backwards...I don't think I'll ever go back to military docs after such bad experiences. I would continue to try and be seen by a hi...

Re : Ruling out Pheochromocytoma

I'm on procardia and labetalol right now. Is the surgery to get it removed very invasive/complicated?? I delivered my little girl at 26 weeks too...she's almost 4 weeks and holding her own in the nicu. Glad you and your son are doing well!

Re : New mom of a preemie

<t>Update: Kayleigh seems to still be doing ok and holding her own. They have still been measuring her belly daily and it is nice and soft. She is still on the vent, but her settings are pretty low. She is still not being fed...but she will be off the antibiotics on the 26th and they are talking abo...

Re : Advice Needed (Cross Post)

<t>I had problems from the beginning of my pregnancy too...fluctuations in bp's and my eye sight seemed to be off. I was being seen at a military hospital in Louisiana where my husband is stationed. They had no high risk doctors there and getting a referral to be seen off post was a pain in the *. T...

Re : Ruling out Pheochromocytoma

<t>Thanks. I'm hoping there is no tumor and we can just finally rule that out...at the same time it would be awesome to have an answer...but the thought of having to go through surgery is scary. I feel so overwhelmed, between having my daughter in the nicu and still having health problems myself, no...

Ruling out Pheochromocytoma

<t>My doctor wants to order an MRI on the abdomen for me to rule out Pheochromocytoma. I guess the urine test showed that it is a possibility. Anyone have any experience with this?? I'm freaked out, on one hand it would be nice to have an answer for my bp being high throughout my entire pregnancy......

Re : Natural ways to lower bp's (pp)

<t>I know it hasn't been that long...but it feels like forever already since I had her! I'm just so impatient...I hate taking medication and having to worry about checking my blood pressure. I also think I need to switch my meds a little bit...I'm taking 60mg of procardia once a day and 200mg of lab...

Re : Natural ways to lower bp's (pp)

<t>WOW, you tried a lot! I love salty foods too!! I was eating as little salt as possible when I was pregnant and having the bp problems but as soon as I delivered her and got out of the hospital I pretty much didn't care anymore and have been eating pretty terribly lol...I'm sure this is not helpin...

Natural ways to lower bp's (pp)

Anyone who had high BP's after pregnancy, did you use any natural remedies?? How about acupuncture or other eastern medicines?? Just curious...my bp is still up 3 weeks after birth and I'm wondering if it's possible to get them lower through diet, exercise or acupuncture

Re : New mom of a preemie

<t>Just wanted to update: Just got back from seeing my little Kayleigh and got to change her diaper for the first time! :) And I noticed her drain was out, no one even told me! The nurse said she thinks they took it out yesterday...so as of right now things seem to be going in the right direction. S...
