Help me explain
<t>Ok, I know this is an annoying post, but I need help. I have read about, and completely understand why it is safer to have a vaginal birth over c-section unless there is an emergency with pre-e. However I am having a terrible time trying to explain it to my family. Their biggest argument is, why ...

Re : Magnesium..Additional question
Thank you ladies for your honest answers! At least now I have some idea what to expect if it happens. Next question, what is the deciding factor for whether or not you will get mag? Is it just bps or a combination of factors? How high do your bps have to be?

Magnesium..Additional question
<t>What is it like to get magnesium before delivering? How does it make you feel? I just want to have some idea what I'm in for in case it happens. Thanks!<br/> <br/> Edit: What is the criteria for having to have the mag? I heard different answers about this, some say it is based on BP, some say pro...

Re : Sitting vs. Laying
Crazyness. Well I went to the doctor today. When they took my bp sitting up it was 160/100. Twenty minutes later (after laying on my left side the whole time.) 120/70. No more sitting for me I guess.

Re : Sitting vs. Laying
Doctor is aware. I don't have call in numbers per se, just if it doesn't go down when I lay down I am supposed to call (in addition to if I have any of the classic worsening symptoms). I go back tomorrow so I will bring her my readings from the last two days.

No, not immediately. It takes 20-30 mins for it to come back down. My ob consults with a peri. (Peri is far away).

Sitting vs. Laying
<t>I have been on bedrest for mild preeclampsia for 8 weeks now and am 32 weeks along. My blood pressures were generally staying at the 140/90 range. Over the last few days I have noticed that whenever I sit up, even if it is not for very long, my bps are going to the 150/100 range. When I lay down ...
