I am not sure about the protein, but with my first, my bp were much higher than 140/90 and they were back to normal immediately after birth. With my second, my pressures were 160/100 for a week, but 150/90...

Re : Heading towards Pre E? Newbie!

<t>PE has two tendencies- one is fast and furious onset. A person goes from being fine, to completely out of control in a few days to a few weeks, others limp along for weeks or months. <br/> <br/> With my first I was in the later. My bp started to rise (dr never said a word), I was swelling everywh...

Re : They havn't said the P word yet... but its not far

<t>I wouldn't be too surprised if they considered induction if your bp is continually rising, protein in urine AND GD. But I would think that the high bp would have to be consistently high (for an appointment or two) and the 24 show that the protein is on the rise. Or have a history of PE. <br/> <br...

Re : Taken BP Meds but BP is still rising

<t>As long as you have waited an hour or two laying on your left side and drinking water and your bp have stayed the same or gotten worse, I would go in. <br/> <br/> If you haven't done those things, they will do it first in the hospital and if the pressures go down they will send you home. So lay o...

Re : hello- I'm new here

<t>Don't know that there is much you can do to avoid PE at this point, except possibly start a baby asprin regimen if you doctor wants to if you have an underlying issue. Otherwise, I guess just take it easy. Good luck! <br/> <br/> By any chance, were you still breastfeeding when you got pregnant wi...

Re : Good and Bad, but SHE is here!

OMG. Wow. Not even labor or post labor could be easy for you this pregnancy. I am grateful that the baby is finally here. I am praying hard for her tonight.

God bless you and your family!
