Re : Thoughts? Flu?

<t>Laura, I had morning (all day, not morning) sickness beginning at 6 weeks with both of mine. I would be nauseated from the time I woke up, all day at work, all evening, it didn't matter. The only time I felt kind okay was while sleeping. With both of my pregnancies it lasted until I hit the 4 mon...

Re : If I hear another thing about salt...

<t>I heard and continue to hear the salt thing. I was also told by a family member that the reason I ended up back in ICU was because I tried to shave my legs. (I had PP PE)<br/> <br/> As if the energy it took to shave my legs (of which I hadn't even done I had only talked about doing) was enough to...

Re : PP high BP

<t>Brandi, I will tell you that my cardio tested my thyroid twice so there is a definite connection to high bp and thyroid. What exactly I do not know. But you could have an underlying kidney issue or other organ issues that could also raise your bp. Or you could just have hypertension.<br/> <br/> I...

Re : PP high BP

<t>I would def go to the ER as well with those pressures. I know you want to breastfeed as long as possible; however you do have so many more options of medications when not breastfeeding. <br/> <br/> When my pressures would spike post partum I asked my cardiologist when exactly should I take myself...

Re : Zofran

I took Zofran with both of my pregnancies. No side effects at all for me and it worked within I would say 30 mins to an hour. It was a lifesaver for me :-)

Re : Post Partum PE?

<t>CONGRATS on your BABY :-)<br/> <br/> I would not be comfortable to sit at home with consistent 170's over 112/118. I would definitely call your doc and let them know what your readings are. If it just hypertension and not PP PE (no other symptoms) I would want my meds adjusted. I personally would...
