Re : NEW HERE...MY STORY & ?'S

<t>Wow, I can only answer a few of your questions, I did not realize that Mag could get to baby, but I guess you have to weigh your odds on that one. As for the baby asprin, there is lots of debate on that one, I have come to the conclussion that it is not helpful unless you have a blood clotting di...

Re : question of the day re: pregnancy ideals

<t>Because my dd was born at 37 1/2 weeks and PIH did not kick in until then I had a "normal" pregnancy. A few days before dd was born a co-worker delivered her baby at 26 weeks of severe PE - he was in the hospital for over 10 months. My OB asked me why I wasn't crying when she sent me to the hospi...

Re : new here w/questions...

<t>I too don't have a lot of medical advice to add - I am so glad that your dh put you on bed rest though, although I am surprised that your OB didn't. Go with your gut feeling, if you feel something is wrong complain until you get answers. (It sounds like you are already a good advocate for yoursel...

Re : New here - intro and ?'s

<t>It started snowing here at around 7 am - I can't wait to take dd out to play. <br/> <br/> As for my pre-e in the Seattle area, that would be intesting huh?? I suspect that since we have such an awesome doctor in our area though that it may be just more awareness. I have to say I am surprised and ...

Re : New here - intro and ?'s

<t>If I remember correctly it was 140 or 150/90. Not earth shattering, but it sure kicked my OB into gear. All of the tests that were taken at the hospital were in the okay range, but she and the OB on call just said that I "looked like I had it" so they induced - I could have just been monitored fo...

New here - intro and ?'s

<t>Hi everyone. My name is Joy and I am currently pregnant with baby number 2. My first dd was born on 3-16-02 at 37 1/2 weeks. I showed up for my appointment that day, my bp was up, they sent me to the hospital, I was induced and she was born. I had all of the classic symptoms, sparkles that mornin...
