Re : Not sure how long I should waitto ttc my 2nd
<t>Sorry I do not remember a study but I think that it is believed (if not proven) that it is easier for the placenta to attach and form uterine arteries if a placenta was attached before. However, if I recall correctly, there is a counter mechanism, namely, that your body might not yet be fully rec...

<t>Sorry you had to find us. I second what Rachel says: There is often a phase were BP is up and down before it goes up and stays high. You should press for close monitoring, so that a trun for the worse would be detected should it happen. <br/> I think twice weekly is the norm for 33 weeks or more....

Re : DC Operation UPDATE!!!
Dear Jennie,
I am so, so sorry. It's so hard loosing a baby. And it's so scary when things go unexpected
I have been there. And it took quite a while before I recovered. But I did eventually and fully so.
Thinking of you.

<t>I had horrible dismenorrhoe before getting pregnant. Every month I would faint, shiver, vomit etc <br/> when getting my period, if not on the pill. Re : Breastfeeding and prolactin levels?
<t>I agree with everything being sad. You tend to come to an equilibrium. Also, the fat content <br/> in your milk goes up as the infant gets older, so they need less quantity for the same amount of calories. Also if they get the breast at most feeds, they tend to drink less during the bottle feed a...

Re : Caryn I need your idea-or anyone else re allergies
<t>I agree with what has been said. I also thought in the beginning that there might be some similarities but there are not. <br/> E.g. allergies have something to do with the histamin cycle and hence <br/> anti-histamins, which occupy the docking stations of the natural histamin, can be taken to we...

Re : Mag Sulfate
<t>To my understanding it is quite common to overdose on it, because your kidneys tend to be affected by pre-eclampsia and are not as efficient <br/> as they would be normally. As always all testing determining the dose<br/> is done on people with functioning kidneys. I am fairly sure I overdosed th...

Re : I give up.....My BP wins
I am very much into breastfeeding but I think if I were you I might consider weaning and going on other BP combos in the interest of the mother of your child, iyswim. You really have the very best of reasons to wean.

<t>I always wanted to have a homebirth and wasn't able to have one with either of my children, so I understand that you want to stay with your midwife.<br/> But - if you have preeclampsia, you need to be seen by an expert and go to the hospital for your and your child's safety. I think you should go...
