Sorry to hear they are going up - but wow how far you have made it so far! Hoping a med increase will buy you some more weeks. Good job lady - you have done so great!

Re : meds and breast feeding?

<t>I pump for my son since he was born. I am on Procardia and now Hydrochlorothiazide along with many other meds - the lactation consultant and pediatriction told me they were fine to use and both looked in Dr. Hale's book!<br/> <br/> I do have a reduced volume though and struggle to pump 15-20 ounc...

Re : sooo scared, please help

<t>Like the other Jamie :) - I also had URQ pain while on bedrest and while everyone was sure it was my liver- it was my gallbladder. It hurts at random times - not just after eating like GB usually does. It was easy to treat with diet modifications.<br/> <br/> I am so sorry you have worries like th...

one year

<t>I can't believe it has been a year. I thought today would be hard but manageable. Instead I am sitting up with the baby with tears running down my face remembering the events of last year. Today is so much harder than I ever thought it would be - the memories are so raw. It is so weird how someÃ...

Re : kidney damage? 2 part question

<t>Hi<br/> <br/> You mention that you are a chronic, are you on BP meds now? If so, they can "mask" your pressure so it appears lower and is than not as useful for diagnosing because your BP would be higher if you were not on the medication... does this make sense?<br/> <br/> As far as delivery off ...

Re : Are there warning signs?

<t>In my first (and most severe) experience with PE - I felt great. My BP had been steadily creeping up for a few weeks until it hit 160/100 at 20 weeks and then jumped to 200/120 at 21 weeks. But I felt great besides the BP. I was working lots of 24 hour shifts and had tons of energy. One night 2 d...

Re : Don't know what to think

<t>I too wish you the best of luck during this scary time. <br/> <br/> I have no experience with your situation - my first son needed to be born at 22 weeks and did not survive his birth. Having no brain bleeds and doing so well for 9 days is awesome - what a strong little boy you have.He is good si...

Re : cerclage???

<t>i do not have much experience with this - but it is my understanding cerclages are normally placed at the beginning of the 2nd trimester - so you should still have time if you do in fact need one. <br/> <br/> It was noticed when I was admitted at 31 weeks for PE that my cervix was shortened to 2....

Re : vomiting = high AST levels?-update 4/16

I hope todays labs are better and that you are feeling better. I have heard of vomitting raising liver enzymes - but I do not know how much or to what degree. You are being followed closely - so that is always a plus.

Hope today is better!
