Re : HCg in early pregnancy & PE risk ... concerned

<t>Hi Jules,<br/> <br/> I had such high levels the doc thought I had a vanishing twin when I started bleeding due to a SCH. So I had high levels - but when I developed PE , it was much later and much milder and much slower moving.<br/> <br/> I thought the risk was from decreased amounts of PAPP-A? A...

Re : Grieving after a subsequent birth

<t>I also noticed the grief for Vincent feeling stronger since having Louis. My hubby and I talk more about Vincent, wonder what traits the brothers would have shared. I think having that second child reminds you of all the things you lost with your first baby.I don;t have any advice - but you can s...

Re : Friends are now pregnant

Jean,

It is always so hard to be so reminded of your loss when you see others get what you wanted. Of course you wish the best for them, but you also wish you had your boy. I am so very sorry you are hurting. Your right - it's just not fair at all

Re : Does severity of Class=higher risk for reocurrance

<t>I just need to also stir in here that it i hard to study PE because it is unique to humans. My MFM told me some primates can have a response to pregnancy that has some aspects of PE, but the syndrome as a whole is found only in humans. This stirs things up because you can't really do controlled s...

Re : one year on....

Julie I sorry you are at your hard days ( I really don't know what else to call them). Being pregnant and worried makes it that much harder. I hope you can take some deep breaths and find some peace as you remember Alice. My thoughts are with you.

Re : Protein in Urine

My MFM didn't care about my proteinuria. I dipped trace the whole pregnancy (until PE) and my baseline was 206 mg.

Re : Pregnant again and having symptoms...

<t>Like others said - your OB should be able to help you figure out what is going on - probably not PE this early. I have high BP in pregnancy VERY early , but not outside of pregnancy. I did want to reassure you about weight - many doctors do not think it makes a huge difference. I am one example o...
