Re: Likelihood of miscarriage from lda?

I don't have any stats or articles to site, but my on personal opinion is that there really is no *conclusive* evidence that LDA increases the risk of miscarriage. I say this because a lot of reproductive endocrinologists include it in their protocols when treating infertility patients. I took it du...

Re: Do we still have the Ask the Experts Forum?

I don't see the forum listed, but sometimes when I search for something, threads in that forum will come up. For example, I just searched for "postpartum preeclampsia" and the first thread post was in the Ask the Experts forum.

Thank you for the tip Flori!!! It worked for me.

Do we still have the Ask the Experts Forum?

Do we still have the "Ask the Experts" Forum? I don't have a question, but there were lots of old posts that I found beneficial when creating a list of questions to discuss with my MFM & OB.

Re: Is anyone checking the boards today? Please help if you

How is your BP now? Regardless, I would go ahead and call your Dr and tell him what your readings have been. Let him make the decision as to whether you should be seen tonight or tomorrow. Even if it isn't PE, you could still have hypertension which needs to be monitored closely. BTW, when did you d...

Re: Anterior placenta and PE

I had a posterior placenta during my 1st & 2nd pregnancies. My first ended with severe PE at 26 weeks and my 2nd was PE free. I'm 29 weeks along in my 3rd pregnancy and I have an anterior placenta. So far, no signs of PE. I'm hoping there is no correlation between the two, because I have enough risk...

Re: If you have chronic hbp, when in your pg did your bp go

My BP went up around 24 weeks during my first pregnancy and I was diagnosed with PE at 26 weeks. I wasn't put on meds until after delivery, but even with the meds it stayed elevated and I went into my 2nd pregnancy with CHTN.

Re: Help! Need advice!

I agree with what Caryn said and would recommend you call your OB to find out what YOUR management plan is. When are you doing another BPP? Labwork? etc? Are you being referred to a MFM? Also, why was the NST a waste? At 30 weeks, I wouldn't expect it to be a waste.

Re: WHEN IS IT A GOOD TIME!!!

After developing PE and losing my daughter at 26 weeks during my first pregnancy, I didn't tell hardly anyone I was pregnant with my son until 32+ weeks. We did tell my parents, sister and MIL early during the first trimester, but they were instructed not to share the news. I quit my job at 10 weeks...
