Re: Poll: The 2 year window. Does it really work?

Did you have PE/hellp/eclampcia with your last pregnancy? I had HELLP. Did you have a severe case and of what? I guess HELLP is considered severe, but it was a still a mild form a HELLP when I delivered. At what week did your symptom's begin? I think I began feeling the "heartburn" on and off at 29 ...

Re: Daughter in hospital with preeclampsia, what should I as

Just a thought about the improvement in liver enzymes. When I had HELLP, the steroid shots seemed to improve my numbers very temporarily. And your daughter-in-law is about at exactly the same point I was when I delivered Bennett two years ago (due Jan. 24, delivered Nov 24) and you wouldn't even kno...

Re: Update! Hospital Bedrest

Wow. I'm sorry you are still in the hospital, but it is awesome that you are being watched so closely. I will send all of my good thoughts your way. And grow little one, grow!

Re: My Story--thank you for welcoming me!

Welcome Cate! I'm happy to hear that your son is doing so well. Have you physically recovered from your bout with PE? You have a lot of company here. I just wanted to second Jamie's suggestion of seeing a MFM. That was the main thing I did that helped me feel more secure pursuing a second pregnancy....

Re: Tightening?

Those sound like Braxton Hicks contractions to me. Mine started at about 20 weeks with Bennett and even earlier with Vivian. Unless they are increasing in intensity I don't think they are anything to worry about. Mine got progressively more frequent as my pregnancies progressed.

I'm sorry to hear your BP's have been shooting up, but it sounds like the second med is helping which is great. And you are being monitored very closely. I will be hoping for at least 7 more baking weeks for Jake!

Re: Vivian Patricia

miamibunnie...I was officially PE free this time. My urine dips were always negative although my BP's did creep up at the end. I took LDA and fish oil this time around.

Re: Anixety?

I can definitely relate. My anxiety was progressively worse until the time Bennett was born and then it leveled out a bit. It was something I dealt with day-to-day. Every day that passed was one more that was good for my baby. My poor husband also had to figure out how to deal with my anxiety-ridden...

Vivian Patricia

Our little girl Vivian arrived on October 28th. For about a week before that my BP's had been creeping up a bit. The highest numbers I got at the doctor's office were 138 and 92, but they didn't really budge from those levels. I had been walking around dilated to 4.5 and 80% effaced for over a week....
