Normal for slight BP rise?

<t>I am 22w5d and have been checking my BP a few times a day. I didn't check it daily with DS because I didn't start having issues until maybe 28ish weeks? I got a BP cuff at 31 weeks with him I think, so I don't know if this variation is normal or not.<br/> <br/> This trimester, I've been averaging...

Re : Steroids and platelets? UPDATE

I think from what I've read that the shots are only effective if you deliver within the next 2 days. It's not a large window of opportunity from what I recall, but don't quote me on the 2 days. :)

When I turned mine in a few weeks ago, they did a blood draw for creatinine, to check kidney function.

Re : Can you lose job due to bed rest?

You may be able to get short term disability. I was on disability when pregnant with DS because of hyperemesis and then PIH, and didn't use FMLA until after DS was born.

Definitely talk to your company's HR department and see what their requirements are.

Re : ob visits

<t>I was being seen every 4 weeks by my OB, but I asked her last week if we could go to every other week, and she said yes (I'm 22 weeks). :) She was my OB last time so she knows how fast it happened, and she is keeping a close eye on me and will refer me to the MFM if things start to decline.<br/> ...

Re : Can't get enough Sleep

Unisom is safe to take during pregnancy - it's actually recommended for morning sickness (1/2 Unisom and 50mg vitamin B6). I've been taking it every day since I started getting sick.
