Re : Reflux question

That's awful. I'm so sorry, but I do hope it's just a "normal" pregnancy discomfort!

Re : Reflux question

Are you on bedrest at all? I got really bad heartburn when I was on bedrest with my second, because I wasn't up and moving around.

Re : prognosis at 24 weeks?

<r>I'm so sorry your daughter is going through this. I hope she can make it a while longer before delivery. It's probably very unlikely that she will make it to term, but every day from here on out gives the baby a better chance. <br/> <br/> There is some good information here:<br/> <URL url="http:/...

Re : New here ; introduction and question

<t>Yes, with my son my risk was 1:23 for Down Syndrome, and with my daughter it was 1:16. With my son, I had the amnio because there were a couple of soft markers, and he was/is chromosomally normal, but I developed severe pre-e and delivered at 32 weeks.<br/> <br/> With my daughter, I declined the ...

Re : Baby #2: No underlying disorders & LDA Only

<t>I had a repeat performance with #2. No underlying disorders, no chronic hypertension, no GD, and LDA from early in the first trimester. I was able to make it to 34 weeks whereas I delivered my first at 32 weeks, but I had severe symptoms starting at 28ish weeks with #2. The big difference was tha...

Re : Natural ways to lower bp's (pp)

Acupuncture helped me. My BP was higher than my normal a few months PP, but not high enough to medicate; around 120s/70s-80s. After a few acupuncture sessions, it dropped to my normal of around 100/60 and has stayed there even though it's been about 6 months since my last session!

Re : Mag Sulfate

<t>I was on it for a week, then discharged, then again for a week before DD was born, and then 24 hours afterwards. She had mag. toxicity as a result, and was fairly floppy at birth and had a hard time feeding at first, but was fine once it was out of her system. <br/> <br/> When I had my son, I rem...

Re : Blood thinner(s).

I had severe pre-e with my first with no blood thinner. Took LDA every day of my 2nd pregnancy, and still developed severe pre-e.

Re : Undetected Preeclampsia??

I had severe PE with both pregnancies and ALWAYS had normal labs. Your BP alone should be enough of a sign that something's wrong!
