Re : How was your C-section experience?
<t>My first c-section was classical crash c-section at 25 weeks. I was put under for the c-section then taken to the SICU afterwards. I don't recall much except for vomiting on myself a couple times in ICU. I was in the hospital 7 days, I had staples that got removed on the 4th day. It was a breeze....

Re : Show me the way to the hole...
<t>I get this all the time too. People assume that my grief is over now that I have another baby, then when they see me cry they act confused. My FIL introduced our 7 month old to his friends by saying, "This is my grandaughter, she replaces the one we lost a couple years ago." Kylie is irreplacable...

Re : How many C-SECTIONS have you had?
<t>I've had two c-sections so far. My first was an emergency c-section at 25 weeks. I had a classical cut so I'm not a candidate for VBAC. 14 months after my first c-section I had my second c-section at 36 weeks. My MFM said it was okay to go for another. She said she could see the previous incision...

Re : How long after your first child should you have yo
I heard that having another pregnancy within two years of your last one decreases the risk of preeclampsia. I don't know that for sure but it's my intention to follow that guideline with all my pregnancies.

Re : about that time....
<t>It's a difficult decision. After we had Kylie some people told me I couldn't do this again. After she died I was told I would be risking my life and another baby if I got pregnant again. After I had my second baby, only 4 weeks premature, I was told I had a living baby now, and I couldn't risk an...

Re : want to try but...
<t>After losing Kylie I was told to wait a year to even TTC. I got pregnant a little less than 6 months after having her. We didn't plan it, but weren't being as careful as we should have been. If we waited until we were done grieving for Kylie we would never have another baby. We were so scared, bu...

Re : Has anyone had real success with a 2nd pregnancy?
<t>I saw a group of Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists (never a "regular" ob.) I took a baby aspirin(81 mg), DHA (expecta lipil), calcium(2000 mg), foltx, on top of labetolol(2400 mg by the end of my pregnancy.) I had ultrasounds every month. I went to the MFM every two weeks until I was 21 weeks, ...
