First smile

<r>I've been lurking around the forum since the birth of my little man but thought I would share the first time I caught his smile on camera. It seems like everything that he does is extra special because of how close we came to losing the both of us. He's my miracle baby :). <br/> <br/> Alright, I'...

Re : high BP's 4 days after delivering

<t>My worst bp readings were taken after I delivered. They almost landed me in icu. It took a while, but it went back down after 6 weeks of blood pressure meds. I'm 9 weeks postpartum now with normal blood pressure. I'm averaging a little higher than pre-preg but this is probably as good as it'll ge...

Re : decrease in fetal growth

My sons legs always measured 2-3 weeks behind the rest of him. He's 8 weeks old now and doing great. When he was born his legs looked a bit short but he's much more proportioned now.

Re : Labetelol Question

I'm waiting for my gp to call me back. I usually take my bp at the pharmacy so i'm going to get my DH to drive me there and take it just before.... just to see what my bp is doing.

Labetelol Question

<t>Right now i'm on Labetelol (200 mg) twice daily. Unfortunately I forget to take them a lot. Remembering to take pills has never been my strong point especially now with the new baby consuming the majority of my attention.<br/> <br/> Now when I do take one I always get really light headed/nauseous...

Re : Joseph Rylan is here

Well my blood pressure is finally normal again without meds! Still a bit higher than it was pre-preg but in normal range. I was so worried that i'd end up having chronic hypertension after this but thankfully I dodged that bullet

Re : when is your bp to high?

I had to call when my BP hit 160/100 but my dr was always concerned with diastolics greater than 90.

Re : How Long- A Poll

<t>I was diagnosed and hospitalized for pre-e at 27 weeks. Proteins were 1100, BP's averaging 150/100 for the 4 days in hospital. I stabilized after being given magnesium sulfate and was sent home on strict bedrest which I followed very carefully. BP's lowered without meds, and proteins dropped to 2...

Re : Joseph Rylan is here

My blood pressure has been good. Usually around 120/80. Not quite as low as it was pre-pregnancy but still normal. I'm still worried that it will shoot back up after i'm off the meds :(

Joseph Rylan is here

<t>After being diagnosed with pre-e at 27 weeks I managed to keep the little guy in there for another 10 weeks! <br/> <br/> My bp had started to climb back up the week prior to my induction. so my OB decided it was time to have him. His last growth ultrasound was less than ideal so I was ready too. ...
