Re : Labile Pressures, or Wonky BP Machine?

<t>I'd keep PE in mind but I would question the monitor. I have tried/bought at least 5-6 different BP machines for home use since 2003, including a Life one and a top of the line (also Canadian). I have yet to find a particularly accurate one. Usually when your BP goes up, the automatic machines go...

Re : Why is my bp doing this?

<t>Do you have any signs of sleep apnea (loud snoring, daytime sleepiness, headaches - I know - sounds like being pregnant)? I was diagnosed with it this pregnancy and apparently it can be aggrevated by pregnancy. Once of the reasons my peri looked into it was my BP readings had a very wide/not "nor...

Re : weight gain...

I'd be looking at what you've been eating lately. I indulged in a couple of chips/dip the other day and got on the scale up 4 lbs the next day! Luckily I dumped it over the next 48 hrs or so. It is something I am prone to, so I try to watch what I eat.

Re : Ticking time bomb

<t>I know exactly how you feel. I developed PE post-partum with my first. For whatever reason I really thought about it with my second - although I was very carefully monitored. For this pregnancy (I'm 23 weeks) I'm completely paranoid and feel like I'm just waiting for PE to arrive and hoping it wo...

Re : Pregnant again after Postpartum Eclampsia

<t>Hi there. I developed PE postpartum as well after my first son was born, although my BP did creep up throughout. Breezed through pregnancy #2 with creeping BP but that was it. Going through #3 now - 22 weeks now - and so far, so good. Keeping my fingers crossed and hope this one is like #2! Good ...

Hint of things to come???

<t>Hello everyone. I'm new here - wish I had found you for pregnancy #1!<br/> <br/> I'm wondering if anyone has experienced "episodes" that foreshadowed PE. A couple of nights ago, just after dinner, I felt HORRIBLE - headache, nauseous, heart pounding - you get the picture. BP was 172/96 - my curre...

Re : Turning a breech baby? Update

<t>I tried it on my first - IT HURTS!!!!!! But, I never regretted it although it didn't work and I almost had an emergency c-section as a result. My little guy was stuck and they had to do a T incision to get him out. I'm glad I tried the inversion because of the T incision I can never have a natura...
