Re : Do You Guys Do This?

<t>I've been doing it too (did it with my first too after we started worrying about preterm labor). My husband and I just had a similar conversation the other day - talking about the odds of survival and disability. I find that I hold my breath until each "milestone". Now at 23 weeks, I'm holding my...

Re : What to expect at 1st peri. appt----UPDATED

<t>When I went for my first peri appointment in this pregnancy, they reviewed my history (including all the bloodwork, placenta pathology, how the baby did, etc., from my first pregnancy), ordered a baseline 24 hour urine and bloodwork, gave me prescriptions for Folgard and Uristicks along with inst...

All is well!

<t>Had my 22 week appointment today and everything is good! Belly measured right on and blood pressure was low. I'd been starting to get worried as I get closer to where trouble started last time, but somehow today's appointment has really let me believe things might be just fine.<br/> <br/> Just wa...

Third on the "call in". My docs always say "better one call too many, than one call too few."

Re : What works for bad morning sickness??

<t>I had no morning sickness with my first, but was in a constant state of nauseousness with the current pregnancy (until about 14 weeks). I had gook luck with the preggie pops (actually, most sour candies worked well, especially the Altoids sours) and sea bands. I also ate lots of saltines which he...

Re : Swelling and Progression of Symptoms (edited)

Thanks everyone! I guess I don't need to panic if I'm starting to swell now :) With the summer setting in here, I guess it's inevitable to some degree...

Re : Swelling and Progression of Symptoms (edited)

Thanks! I guess I have serious mommy/pregnancy brain...believe it or not I read that post this morning!

Seems the bottom line is that it could have been a warning sign, but might not have been.

Thanks again!

Re : Swelling and Progression of Symptoms (edited)

Amanda - Thanks for the note about the other post - obviously I'd love to read that. However, I'm having trouble finding it. Any idea when it was, or anything else that might help me search on it?

Swelling and Progression of Symptoms (edited)

<t>This is a curiosity question as I think back to my first pregnancy and wonder if I missed an early warning sign...<br/> <br/> I checked the "experts" section, but was looking for some additional information about the progression of symptoms. Specifically, I'm wondering can you have swelling with ...

Re : Keep on keepin' on....(UPDATE)

<t>So happy to hear things are going so well for Ethan and you've already gotten to hold him! We'll keep thinking of you.<br/> <br/> Remember to take care of yourself. When my son was in the NICU and I was pumping, I was able to pump a little more frequently during the day (every 2-3 hours) and slee...
