Re : Too soon to worry?

<t>Thanks. We did check my monitor too. It runs slightly lower than theirs, but nowhere near enough to account for the difference (my monitor got high 120s/low 80s yesterday). I don't usually have higher pressures in the office - in fact with my last pregnancy I think they may have assumed that when...

Too soon to worry?

<t>I had an OB appointment yesterday and they weren't happy with my BP. It was 130s/80s when they took it (a few times). They had been running in the low 100s/60s. I haven't been diligently monitoring at home because they said to start at 20 weeks (I'm just 18 now), but I hadn't seen anything like t...

Re : PE last time & clotting disorders this time??

<t>I'm not positive, but I think I'm heterozygous MTHFR (sure about the MTHRF part, just not the hetero part). I know there was some debate amongst the peri's in the practice about whether to treat me with lovenox or not. But they all agreed that I should take Folgard. In the end, they decided to st...

Re : What are you Craving?

<t>My major craving in both pregnancies has been cheese. I never identified it as a craving until I noticed the grocery cart one day. It was filled with all different kinds of cheese (pizza, sliced cheese, blocks of cheese, cheese filled pasta - just about any form of cheese I could find). The funny...

Re : We survived Disney World!

Thanks again for the tips! Do you know if you're allowed in/out privilages at the parks (so if I wanted to take an afternoon nap and rejoin my family, could I)?

Re : Good appt today, but nervous : Lab Update

So glad to hear the baby is doing well! I think what you're feeling (physically and emotionally) is totally normal. I know felt the same "yuckiness" on bedrest and know that 32 weeks will be "that week" for me.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for good BPs and labs for you!

Fetal Weight

<t>I had an ultrasound this morning to check the baby's weight. I'm just over 17 weeks and they estimated the weight at 8oz. They said it looked "very good" - in my joy of hearing that, I totally forgot to ask what percentile that put the baby in.<br/> <br/> Does anyone know a good source for a feta...

Re : We survived Disney World!

<t>Thanks so much for the tips and the links. I especially appreciate the tip that we can bring our own snacks and drinks. Given how much I eat and drink these days, we'd go broke if we had to pay Disney prices for everything!<br/> <br/> Fortunately, we used to live in Tampa, so we've had a few visi...

Re : We survived Disney World!

<t>Hi. I'm heading to Disney World next week with my 14 month old (plus hubby and miscellaneous other family) and will be 18 weeks then.<br/> <br/> I was wondering if you had any tips for a pregnant lady to do around Disney. We planned to rent a wheelchair at the parks. My peri gave me a great big f...

Re : 2nd Pregnancy...Lots of Questions

<t>Thanks so much! I look forward to getting more detail from some of the others.<br/> <br/> Yes, I'm seeing a Peri. I had an initial consult with them and now will be seeing them for all my ultrasounds (at least every 4 weeks). They consult with my regular OB and were the ones to recommend the trea...
