Re : Mental fog

<t>While I was on bedrest for 6 weeks with my last pregnancy, I experienced exactly what you describe. My blood pressure was not steadily going up, it stayed around 140/90 so I don't know about the BP aspect, but I was overwhelming tired all the time. It seemed like the simplest activities made me e...

Re : please help

<t>Depending on where you live, there may be a peri/MFM on staff at your local facility or they can refer you out to a private practice. I hope your husband is able to be with you this time. I'm just a few weeks ahead of you (9 weeks today) and my husband is deployed to Afghanistan until next March ...

Re : Nerves...Nerves...Nerves***UPDATED

<t>That's a good update ... way to go Ethan!! These little guys (and gals) are definitely fighters. Glad to hear he had other ideas than your PT :)<br/> <br/> I just wanted to add something really quick about the signing. I have done it with both of my kids, but I found with both that they didn't re...

Re : Abdominal Growth Slowed? ** Updated with answers**

<t>Jamie,<br/> <br/> I hope you have already been able to speak with a doctor about this, but I just wanted to share my experience. In my last pregnancy (delivered at 37 weeks), the same thing happened with my son, weight-wise starting around 31 weeks. They also did other measurements, though, that ...

Re : Alternatives to mag - or things to try beforehand?

<t>No help on this one, but I'll be curious to see any responses. Mag did nothing for my blood pressure either both times I was on it.<br/> <br/> I'm curious, though, about you saying you were diagnosed with PE after Labetalol didn't bring down your pressures. Were you on an increased dosage? Did th...

Re : stressed to the max

<t>I just tried a yoga for relaxation class on Monday and it was amazing. No impact so not an exercise class, but I've not felt that relaxed in a while. When I found myself in a stressful situation afterwards, I used the breathing techniques and actually felt more calm than I expected.<br/> <br/> As...

Re : dollhouse suggestions (completely OT)...

Friends of ours have a Melissa and Doug house, but I don't know if it was a recent purchase/still available. My son loves it :) I saw something similar at Target during Christmas and you could buy a lot of accessories for it.

Re : speech delays

<t>My son went through a similar pattern that you've described (he was born much earlier, though). Due to his very early arrival, we were in EI from the time he came home from the hospital so we didn't have to wait very long for evals, but I did have to convince the main office that I thought my son...

Re : new and scared

Just to be prepared, make sure you take a bag with you to your doctor's appointment. Hope you were able to talk to your doctor. Call L&D (even if it's in the middle of the night), that's what they are there for.

Re : Second round of BW

<t>Definite kudos to supportive bosses! Hope the rheumatologist can help you out. FWIW, I wasn't taking an anti-inflammatory at the same time, but I didn't get any relief for my lupus like symptoms until I went on about 30 mg of prednisone for three months and then ramped down to none. Isn't it inte...
