Re : Migraine history linked with increased risk of PE

<t>quote:Originally posted by hols537<br/> <br/> I'm really interested to follow and see where this all ends up. It seems far too coincidental to me. I've had migraines for a long time. Have even been treated with blood pressure medication to prevent them. I got a lot of migraines right through my f...

Re : normal variation in blood pressure

I am not on meds and actually did not have PE with my most recent pregnancy. However, my BP fluctuates from 110s/60s to 130s/90s. Not necessarily in a single day, but over the course of monitoring. My PCP believes that it only is a matter of time till I become chronic.

Re : Organic vs. regular baby food

Just a tip on applesauce: you can buy organic unsweetened "grown up" applesauce cheaply, even at the regular grocery--it's waaaay cheaper per oz than babyfood. My DDs never had babyfood applesauce!

Re : Anyone have potty training advice

<t>We started Thursday--DD is 2.5--and today we were ACCIDENT FREE! We skimmed Toilet Training in Less Than A Day, and it has some really good tactics. One of the biggest things for our DD was owning the entire process, start to finish. SHE goes to the potty (we don't put her on it, just remind or s...

Re : Roll Call: who had postpartum preeclampsia?

<t>Sheri--Like you, no one tested my urine PP, but I had the headache, severe swelling, and 160s/110s BPs on meds post-partum, so my peri gave me a retrospective PP PE diagnosis. (Actually, my whole PE diagnosis was retropsective b/c I never did do a 24 hour. Crazy, I know.) I *think* that if you ha...

Re : Refusing naps?

What is her schedule? You may need to tweak it over all. Or she just has to get back on schedule. Or she's just being a willful toddler ;)

Re : Move in to Dr's Office?

Quincy, just to give you some hope, I was 136/88 and trace at 33w w/ DD2, and I ended up with a completely healthy 41w pregnancy! Hang in there. :D The grocery store sucks this time of year anyway.
