27w2d appointment

All is well. Oliver is weighing in at 2 lb 6 oz and looked great. BP great, no protein in the urine...I do however have pitting edema in my lower legs and gained 4 lbs in 2 wks (which they think is fluid). I have no swelling in my hands/face or elsewhere so hopefully its just a "normal pregnancy" th...

Re: TMI- Anybody else getting this?

I was just talking to my doc about this. She said that is baby headbutting your cervix basically. It will hit a nerve that feels like an electrical shock that travels up your uterus.

Re: Notching @ 17 wks

Hi! Yes I had notching in my last pregnancy, which I had a scheduled c/s at 37w5d. I had no signs of pre-e in that pregnancy at all (i'm on lovenox and LDA for a clotting disorder). I also have it this time (I am 25 weeks right now). At my 19 week scan it was bilateral, and at my 23 week scan it was...

Re: Delivery!?!

I also had a J incision due to an emergency c-section with my second child at 29 weeks. The problem with classic/J/T incisions is that the incision is higher up on the uterus where it is more vascular. If you rupture, its not the same as rupturing a normal bikini incision...your risk for bleeding ou...

My 23 week appointment update

Oliver is 1 lb 5 oz at 23w2d, measuring perfect! This time I only have unilateral uterine artery notching....at my 19 week appointment it was bilateral. The umbilical artery flow is perfect, and my BP is very low too. So, awesome appointment. It would appear that things are going as well this time a...
