Re: Eclampsia

Like Caryn said "Eclampsia is not terribly predictable". I am proof of that, I am the one who seems to mess up all the statistics. I developed severe PE with my daughter, my blood work was horrible, my kidneys and liver were shutting down, tons of protein. They decided to induce me at 33 weeks, and ...

Re : anyone with no underlying disorders?

<t>Yep, I am one of the ones who messes up all the statistics. I am between 20 and 35, normal weight, low BP, no family history, etc. I had severe PE at 33 weeks with my first. Then went on to have severe Pe that turned into elcampsia, with Hellp at 23 weeks with my second. I was tested for autoimmu...

Re : Low growth percentiles for PIH babies?

<t>My daughter was born at 3pounds 3 ounces at 33 weeks, and was 16 pounds at one year. She has always been between the 3 and 5 percentile on the charts. It has been a battle trying to keep weight on her. But I think it is more genetics then anything with her. Her dad is 6'3 and 165 pounds, and I am...

I hate September

<t>Tomorrow Sept 21st our son Chance would be turning 4 years old. I miss him so much, everyday. He would be in Preschool now, causing trouble. I also feel like we should have another child too, maybe one about 2 or 3 years old. But PE has scared my husband so bad that we are not even close to tryin...

Re : Sooo Sad

<t>Well I have not bled at all since Tuesday morning so my doctor said that I need to have a D & C tomorrow afternoon. I just don't understand why my body is not getting rid of the baby on its own. They think it died four weeks ago. I really don't want to have surgery but I can't stand the thoug...

Sooo Sad

<t>So today I should be 12 weeks. I started to spot Mon night and went in for an ultrasound yesterday, and their was no heartbeat. My last ultrasound was at 7 weeks 2 days, they said the baby measured 7 weeks 6 days yesterday. So four days after my last ultrasound the baby must have died. So I am st...

Re : Low body fat -less chance

Yep skinny, 107 with both pregnancies, now 110 at 9 weeks with this pregnancy. But I had severe PE, Hellp, and eclampsia. So no it did not really help me any. Sorry to bust your bubble.

Re : I had my first High risk appointment

<t>Because have had severe PE twice now and both were early onset. My daughter at 33 weeks, and my son who we lost at 23 weeks. More then likely I will get PE again, but we will try to hold it off as long as possible. Some of the new studies have shown that LDA can lower your risk of PE, and possibl...

I had my first High risk appointment

<t>On Monday I had my first high risk appointment. It went ok, my BP was perfect. I was told to stay on lose dose aspirin, but for now we are holding off on doing and blood thinners, because of the latest research. I am on a prenatal (morning sickness permitting), vit d, calcium, fish oil, and b6 fo...
