Re : New here, my story

She spent 12 days in the NICU. My 2nd was born at 36 weeks and was just like a full term baby. There are also a lot of wo...

Re : New here and scared!!

<t>I'm glad that you found us. I am not the most knowledgeable person on the board but, I do some advice that may be helpful to you. My first questions for you are how much protein, how low are your platelets, and how high are your BPs running? It sounds like your doctor is following you closely. I ...

Good appointment today

<t>I am very excited that my baby is doing so well. I had a fetal growth ultrasound and BPP today. I'm happy to say that I am 30 weeks and baby Haley is approximately 3 lbs. 5 oz. and she has chubby cheeks! She also has enough fluid around her. 3 weeks ago I was told that my placenta was a grade 3 s...

Re : I dont know where to put this...

<t>I'm sorry that you had such a horrible experience but, I am glad that you and baby are ok. If you like your ob then by all means keep seeing your ob. You can request that your ob refer you to a high risk doctor for a consultation without having to completely give up your ob. I see my ob once a we...

Re : Can I cry on your shoulder?

<t>I'm sorry that you are feeling this way. I know how hard it is. I was put on labetalol at 13 weeks and have had my dose increased many times with this pregnancy. I am now almost 30 weeks and hoping to get a few more out of this pregnancy. I just want you to know that it is possible to get many mo...

Re : Called the doc - now I feel silly

<t>I'm glad that you went in. I also have had contractions with my current pregnancy. If your cervix had been thinning or dilating the contractions would probably be more serious. The growth ultrasound is to make sure that your baby is still growing well. If your baby is significantly small for his ...

Re : How long can my placenta last?

<t>Thanks for the responses. I am now 29 weeks and still pregnant. I am having the NST and BPP each week to keep a close eye on the baby. I am now having contractions every day but, so far cervix is not doing anything. I also have a growth ultrasound next week, so I am anxious to see if she is still...
