Re: 24 hour urine

You are in that sort of no mans land with your 24 hour urine results. 150 or less is considered normal but, the diagnostic criteria for pe is 300 or greater. So, you don't meet the diagnostic criteria but, you are outside of normal. It seems to me that you may be trending towards that 300 mark. I th...

Re: Blood pressure machine issues.

How old are the batteries that you are using? If they came with the machine or if they might be outdated I would change them out and see if that helps. Otherwise, I would take it in to your doctor's office and check it against the reading that they get in the office.

Re : possible pre-e how to help the pain? 25 1/2 wks pg

<t>My personal opinion is that you should go to the ER or at the very least speak to the on call doctor about your situation. Headaches can be normal during pregnancy but, if they are associated with preeclampsia it can mean that your nervous system is being affected and you could be at risk for a s...

Re : Update, My little one did not want to wait

Congratulations on the birth of your baby! I was hoping that you would get farther along before you had to deliver but, I'm glad that you got good care and were able to deliver right away. I hope that your little sweetie continues to do well and that you recover quickly!

I think that I would "bug" the doctor. It is her job to help you to know what you should do in these situations.

Re : Repeat C-section or Vba2c? Opinions please...

<t>I opted for a 3rd c-section after the first two. My doctor didn't even really give me the option. With the amount of scar tissue I had after 2 c-sections I was at an increased risk of abruption. I also had pe, and low protein s that also put me at risk of further complications if a VBAC went wron...

Re : prognosis at 24 weeks?

<t>I have a positive story to share with you and your daughter. I was diagnosed with severe pe during my last pregnancy. I was only 22 weeks along. I also had some liver involvement. I was told by my doctor that I may have to consider terminating the pregnancy. It was the scariest time of my life. I...
