Re : Do you have to go on a special diet for pp hbp

<t>You don't want to completely cut salt out of your diet because our body needs it. So salt your food to taste but keep the higher sodium foods down to a minimum, this includes most pre-packaged boxed types of foods and canned foods. My guess is fried foods (fast food) would be higher in sodium as ...

Re : Weight question- when to worry about to big?

23 lbs at 15mth is perfect!!! What is her height, obesity is measured by the comparison of ones height to ones weight (bmi). My son has always been in the 90-99th percentiles in both height and weight. His peds never worried because he was so tall and it balanced his weight.

Re : wierd bp readings

<t>Thanks for the info. I'll give a call and let her know and see what she wants me to do. I've been having braxton hicks all day too, nothing consistent or anything, but they are there, so I'll bring those up as well. I never had braxton hicks or even normal labor contractions with sean so it took ...

Re : HOI area?

My dh and I used to drive through astoria when we lived in canton, on our way to my in-laws house in winchester, just a few other little towns LOL.

A visit would be great. I think my email is in my profile, if you know when you are coming to town we can get together.

Re : Measuring BP

<t>My doc said not to measure over my clothes, she said it can interfere with the readings on an automatic machine. However, from time to time the nurses do readings over my clothes so I guess it's not as big of a deal on a manual one *shrug*<br/> <br/> My bp pattern is: lower in the mornings, soari...

Re : Hi, I'm a new member

<t>Welcome Amie.<br/> <br/> My bp started high really early as well. Also swelling, I had to remove my rings and get new shoes by the time I was 10 weeks. I have had no problems with urine though and my last 24hour showed me borderline (250mg or g or whatever it is). My doc has me checking my bp at ...

Re : trying to get a new ob

Your insurance shouldn't care if you change or not, they'll just have requirements about who you can change too. It will be up to the doctors at the new office to decide if they will take you, but as you are still a few months off, most should have no issues with it.

Good luck.
