Actually I happened to read Sanjay's post right after I posted mine...it put things into perspective. It's hard to feel sorry for yourself when you hear about something so tragic. But thank you so much for your replies. I hope it's possible to find another job I love as much.

Well, it turns out you CAN lose your job due to being on bedrest. I just heard from my boss, she called to let me know I am not covered by FMLA due to working too few hours, and that they can't hold my job open for me.

I am 29 weeks. Next week I will start twice weekly Non stress tests at my OB's office, and one visit per week with my regular OB. I'll also see the MFM every other week for growth scans starting next week.
