Re : Night waking - updated :)

<t>I know everyone needs to find a solution that they personally are comfortable with - there's no one-size-fits-all cure - but we, too, had to resort to cry-it-out when my DD was 10 1/2 months old (9 months adjusted). She had been waking in the middle of the night for 2+ hours for no apparent reaso...

Re : I dont know what to think **Complete Update**

I'm so sorry to hear this, but definitely glad that you went in to L&D and that they were able to slow down the contractions and get your blood pressure down. Hopefully bedrest will help everything stay under control for another 8 or 9 weeks.

Re : Question about weight

It sounds like your daughter is right on target to me, too. The rate of growth is more important than the actual numbers - the doctors generally want to see consistent growth. My DD, who was 2lb. 10oz. at birth, weighed 11lb. 12oz at 6 months.

Re : preemie growth and head size

<t>I'm a little surprised that her head % has increased so much from one visit to the next, but first of all: <br/> <br/> (1) it is EXTREMELY common -in fact, even typical - in IUGR babies for the head size to be significantly larger than the body size (the blood flow/nutrients to the baby are decre...

Re : Mag and liquid restriction

<t>I honestly don't recall having my liquid intake restricted at all (I was on mag for ~3 days), I only remember not being able to eat any solids whatsoever. In fact, I was on a liquid diet for the whole day after my c-section while I was still on mag. I would have been allowed to eat solids (the nu...

That's WONDERFUL news! [:D]

Kacky, I was looking for the story on your son's birth that's in your siggy, but the link doesn't work... do you know if it has been moved? I was curious because of the similar birth stats of our little ones.

Re : Oh you gotta hear this !

<t>That is crazy, but it is good news that they've been reviewing your info even without you there for an appointment. Hopefully this time a little bedrest (at home) will make a big change to the fluid - it happened to me last time.... fluid was back to normal after just a week of bedrest for me. I'...

Yeah! It's wonderful to be in the "low risk of high risk" categories. Great news that everything is on track!!! [:)][:)]
I had the same problem trying to get a 3-D pic at my u/s on Tuesday... little baby would just not cooperate.
