Re : To those with 2 or more kids

<t>Denise,<br/> You and I have talked before; but I am another single parent who had 3 kids to care for and never has had any regrets whatsoever; nor did I then. I'm probably in the minority but I honestly didn't feel like 2 kids were that much harder to care for than 1; and then the 3rd just seemed...

Re : TTC next month after loss

<t>I think it is perfectly normal to want to be pregnant again immediately. My daughter had a loss and was 'allowed' to try again the next month; it unfortunately took alot longer and it really was hard on her as each month passed by. She finally did get pg again and had a little girl. In contrast, ...

Re : My preemies are turning TWO tomorrow......boo hoo.

Yes, as the parent of grown kids (and one granddaughter who just turned 17), I can say it DEFINITELY goes WAY too fast! I always tell new parents to "enjoy every moment".

Happy birthday to your darling little ones!!!!! Hope they, and you, have a fun, fun day!!!

Re : Fluttering at 8 weeks?

I felt each one of mine earlier than the one before; or maybe I just knew what to expect and was more aware of it. I don't think I felt any as early as 8 weeks, but I suppose it is possible! Those first little flutters are so exciting!

Re : starting to wean from BF

<t>Holly,<br/> I think your decision to go straight to a sippy cup is the right decision! that is what I did with my kids and it worked out fine. By the time they were ready to stop BF (although I had one who still wanted the night feeding till about 18 months), they were able to hold the little cup...

Re : naps

<t>Wow, I am envious, too. My oldest was done napping during the day before she was 2. She would, however, sit in her crib and play for a short time. She was just the kind of baby/child who didn't want to miss a thing! My second napped well, but started Preschool at 2 1/2 so the naps ended then. The...

Re : Tonsillectomies?? Anybody??

<t>I am the oddball because my youngest daughter actually got hers out at age 18. She had had problems as a child but they weren't doing it much then and the doctors kept saying, wait a little longer. Things improved then she had trouble as an older teenager, so we got referred to an ENT and they re...

Re : Headaches?

<t>I know that extreme stress, grief, etc. can cause very painful headaches to occur, as well as other physical symptoms, but I would still contact your doctor. They might be able to give you something to help relieve the pain, at least the physical discomforts. I just wanted to tell you that I have...
