Re: Brand new from Owensboro ky

Not from KY, (I'm in TX), but wanted to say hi and that I was thinking of you! I know how scary it can be - I had pre-e with my first and went from hospital to delivery in 5 days. Now, that was at 23w, not 34, so completely different story. I think it's great that your doctors are monitoring you so ...

Re: Third Pregnancy 2016

Sorry, no idea here, but congrats on the Sept baby! :) It's nice to hear stories from people who have had success after a loss. We lost our twin boys in Aug/Sept due to pre-e at 23w. Did you do anything differently this time?

It's been a little more than two weeks since your post - hoping to hear that you've successfully made it farther than before and are still going strong!

Re: a dad to be but never happened

I'm no medical expert, but I've read that heparin is cheaper and some doctors will switch to that instead. I think it's two shots/day, though, but it may at least be worth asking your doctor. Good luck!

Re: Urine testing at home?

I knew there was an "Ask the Experts" about blood pressure that said the same thing and I couldn't find it - thanks for posting the link!

OP, any updates? Did you talk to your doc again or go in and see someone? Did you get a 24hr urine or a MFM referral?

Re: Urine testing at home?

Hey - I replied to your post on Baby Center too (which I'll copy below for anybody else who reads this later), but I read on there that L&D just said to talk to your doc, who still isn't interested. I'd really find a second doc to see or just go to L&D. I totally understand feeling like a pain, but ...

Re: New Here, 34w 1d 3rd time

I have a wrist cuff too and have been wondering if mine reads low. It's always 15-20 points lower (top number) than what I get in office. But the bottom number is pretty accurate, so I figure maybe it's from being up and walking around and being nervous... I did read that it really really matters th...
