Re: Dealing with ignorance
something very similar. But she continues to say things like "Wow! that's way early!" When I say something about my doctor doing a c-section at 37 weeks. I know it shouldn't bother me, but I think so many people just take it for granted that they will have 40+ week, normal pregnancies with beautiful...

Re: Milestones?
congrats! I wish my mil was like that! I was just sitting here plotting a plan for healthy boundaries with mine this time. Last time was a disaster that she is still complaining/hurting my feelings about!

Dealing with ignorance
Just wondering how you all deal with friends and family who act like you are out of your mind. I have a friend on facebook who is "due" a couple of weeks before I am. Anytime I post anything about the baby or pregnancy, she wants to compare my post to her "normal" pregnancy, and make it seem like my...

My MFM this time told me it was practically statistically impossible for me to have issues with this pregnancy since I didn't with my 3...

Milestones?
I thought it might be helpful to start a topic where we can celebrate the milestones we have hit and affirm what our next milestone will be. I find it helpful to get through the last weeks by finding something to look forward to/strive for. Baby and I hit a major milestone today. I am 31 weeks today...

Re: Pregnant again - what monitoring should I expect ??
It honestly depends on your doctor. But I would not feel comfortable not being monitored closely. You should have at least the protein in your urine monitored at every visit, and several ultrasounds to follow baby's growth.
