Re: Possible onset of pre-e found at 24 weeks

I had symptoms at 18-19 weeks pregnant. My doctor dismissed them and at 21 weeks I went to the hospital for a second opinion and everything went downhill. My baby died inutero literally ten minutes after we were in the hospital (not to scare you) and I had to give birth to my stillborn baby. I was a...

Re: Weight Loss Buddies - Spring 2012 4/10/12

So I finally started getting my butt to the gym on a regular basis to lose my baby weight before I ttc again. Before the baby I was the smallest I had ever been due to the fact I was getting married. I weighed in at 155lbs. At 21 weeks pregnant I was 198lbs! I gained so much! After the birth I was 1...

Re: Help understanding urine analysis results

Thank you for all of the help! I called to bump up my appointment and also left a message for the doctor. I'm hoping it's because of the infection that I'm spilling protein and not because of kidney damage. It is reassuring to hear that other posters have had children even though they spill protein ...

Help understanding urine analysis results

So I got back my results from the hospital myself and I only meet with my doctor on the 3rd of July. I'm making myself sick worrying because the amount of microalbumin is much higher than normal. Below are my results. If anyone can help me to interpret them it'd be fantastic!! My results are typed b...

Anyone have a baby with kidney disease or other problems?

I got some more results back today and my microalbumin levels and protein in the urine levels are higher than normal. The microalbumin levels are really worrying me. I lost my first baby to preeclampsia and I so very badly want to have a baby of my own. I was just wondering if anyone on here had kid...

Re: Drawing blood and preeclampsia

Hi again Caryn, My MFM just emailed me about a conference he went to. Below is what he wrote: "I was at a research meeting where the work of Dr John Kingdom, a researcher at the U of Toronto was discussed. He is working on the mechanims underlying the potential benefits of low dose heparin in the pr...

Re: Drawing blood and preeclampsia

Hi Caryn, If that is the problem with me, do you know if there is any way they can help me? Would lda and heparin in that case help? I'm assuming no since there would still be no extra room... they would only increase the flow. I just wanted to know if the doctors would be able to help me in this ca...

Re: how long did you.........?

I was diagnosed, heard the heartbeat, 10 minutes later my baby had passed so then I had to be induced to give birth to the stillborn baby. I had symptoms for about two weeks if not more but my OB never diagnosed me.

Re: WHY????????

I 100% agree with you and it truly does make me so angry. I told my doctor of my countless symptoms and she kept blaming it on things like "don't eat too much sweets" or giving me heartburn medication for the pain. I had so many symptoms before I lost! I'm sure I had the preeclampsia before 20 weeks...
