Re: List symptoms & complications PRE - preeclampsia ...

The swollen eyelids alone are a red flag to me. I had that and a whole host of other symptoms. My eyelids were so swollen fluid came out of them. I think you need to possibly go to the ER. Your symptoms are reminiscent of what I had go on last year. Keep us posted.

Re: Preeclampsia at 21 weeks... will I ever have a baby?

I am very, very sorry about you losing your baby girl. I lost my son Fritzy at 24 weeks due to PE/HELLP and, for lack of better words, it SUCKS! Reading your post reminded me a lot of the events that happened to me. I remember crying my eyes out and waking up the next day and being able to push fluid...

Re: Measuring small at first u/s... poor implantation?

I would not become alarmed at this time. If anything, you need to stay calm and take care of yourself. It is very early and the doctors will keep a close eye on you. I 'm sure they will work on a plan of action. Like the others have said, if you don't know exactly when you ovulated that could change...

Re: 24 weeks

I am so excited for you. I can only imagine what that must feel like. And absolutely YAY for no growth restriction. I love that you are showing a nice round bump. You are progressing nicely and I am so happy that everything is going so well. Shannon

Re: Lovenox ?

Thanks Heather! I figured since I had the majority of bruising on my morning injection side it was probably due to me being more in a hurry to get ready for work. So, I am injecting much slower and I take a few moments after the shot just to breathe. It is helping. And what you said about not pinchi...

Lovenox ?

I have been taking lovenox for several weeks now and things are going well. I seem to do better injecting on my right side (it's my night side). My left, on the other hand, is not so great. I have had some bruising, which I don't think is any big deal. It's the spots that appear to have blood just b...

Re: Scared right now

Is there possibly another MFM in your area? That seems out of character for an MFM. I would find out if there is another MFM in the office where the one you have already seen is, if so, see if you could see the other doctor. There is a website for finding MFMs-www.smfm.org. You might check it out fo...

Almost Second Trimester

Well, it has been a while since I posted anything about my pregnancy. I will be at the top of my 13th week as of tomorrow and I am happy to say so far things are going well. Of course, going into the second trimester is scary because I only made it to 24 weeks with my first pregnancy. I have been on...

Re: I'm not making this up

I'm really sorry about her insensitivity. I can't talk about the subject of my son's birth and death without at least tearing up, if not balling my eyes out. It's been nine months and it will always be there. I hope you find a caring physician to help you on your journey.
