Re : Anyone else stopping at 1 child?

<t>I'm sure that most of the people on these boards would tell you that they too have had similar thoughts. That their experience with PE has been the reason for them to stop and give pause about having any more kids. <br/> <br/> I know that for my dh and I, our experience with it has definitely aff...

Re : question

<t>For me, my disease "flares" the moment I get pregnant. As a matter of fact, with my last pregnancy in 2006, I only took a HPT because I had "chest" pain that I associated with Pericarditis which flares when I get pregnant. I was on the minipill and not planning it. So, I was completely SHOCKED wh...

Re : I need a first time induction success story!

<t>My first was induced at 35 weeks and ended w/ a vaginal delivery. I had what they called "precipitous labour". The induction started Tuesday afternoon with cervidil and my ds was born Wednesday night. <br/> <br/> My second was a section, but we didn't even try an induction.<br/> <br/> There are a...

Re : Predicting PE in Pregnant Women with Lupus

Fascinating! My blood work is always off as early as the HPT is +. Now, they just need to figure out what to do about it =).

Re : Atenolol - Going in fighting

<t>I too was on atenolol. My dh remembers my peri using the "lesser of two evils" example. Meaning, untreated PE will lead to IUGR and it would be worse than having a healthy, but maybe small baby. I had regular ultrasounds to check on fetal growth. My dosage was adjusted several times during the pr...

Re : Can you relate?

<t>Rebecca, What you're describing is completely normal. --yes, it makes perfect sense.<br/> <br/> I don't think that there is one person who has experienced PE that couldn't relate. I often describe it as the big pink elephant in the room. Everyone who knows me, my kids, or my family, knows what we...

Re : is it just me?

<t>I am so sorry you're going through this. . . in addition to the traumatic experience of HELLP and a "non baby story" delivery.<br/> <br/> Like Caryn said, I think there are a lot of us who go through similar things. You are not going crazy. It takes time. Sometimes, a lot of time. But mostly, it ...
