Re : Here I go again..Twins???

I measured bigger and had morning sickness with my single and not the twins, so it doesn't always mean anything. Hang in there until you know more.

Re : Why can't I get over this already??

<t>I don't know that you ever get over it. The twins are 8 and I can vividly remember times in the NICU. I still come to this board because it's important to me. My hubby doesn't get it at all. I don't talk to him about it. I will say that my response wasn't as strong as yours sounds like. For me ti...

Re : Scared and Terrified

<t>Hello. I was also living in "hickville" when I developed HELLP. We knew we were having twins at 20 weeks and at 27 weeks I had my first OB appointment. We didn't have any in the area I lived and I had to drive 1.5 hours to see someone other than a general family doctor. Yup. It took 5 hours to ge...

Re : Mild PE to Severe in 3 days!

<t>That's part of the thing with pre-e it can change really quickly and become serious very quickly. I was fine (in dr office for gestational diabetes test with normal BP and trace protein) and then 18 hours later by kidneys and liver had shut down. Go figure. BUT I also recovered quite quickly too....

Re : For those of you w/ preschool/school age PE kids

My non-HELLP child is the hyper one. The HELLP twins are very shy, cautious and quiet. They are very verbal, but certainly not ADD or ADHD or hyper and have really good concentration skills.

Re : Thoughts? PE in prior pregnancy

<t>Well I'm not sure I can say yippee on the second set of twins as that was one of my biggest fears when we tried again and so I can only imagine that while you're happy it's with mixed feelings. During my second pregancy I went into L&D a few times with what I thought was liver pain. It felt s...

Re : Vaginal delivery.

<t>With the twins even though I got sick really quickly the hospital really encouraged induction and vaginal delivery since they said it was better for the babies. I wasn't remotely in labour and they did go straight to pictocin and it was about 10 hours from start to both babies born. I was given a...

Re : Anyone pg again after twins/multiples?

<t>I had twins in my first pregnancy and developed sudden onset HELLP at 28 weeks. Literally I was in the dr office Friday morning and was fine then 18 hours later was starting organ failure. I had a very normal pregnancy until that point, didn't even know it was twins until 20 weeks. Forward 3 year...

Re : 2nd pregnancy after HELLP?

I had a second pregnancy after HELLP, make sure you're well educated on the symptoms and have you had the underlying conditions testing? There's a list somewhere on this board - if you search you should be able to find it. It really allowed me a lot of peace of mind when trying again.

Re : Would going to a chiropractor hurt?

I also saw a chiro through both of my pregnancies. They just need to know. My chiro knew before my family knew!
