Re : Still contemplating tubal

<t>I had mixed feelings too. I had to sign the papers before 32wks and in my head I know it's the right decision, but now I wonder if we are being hasty. I have a 5yr old daughter and currently 35wks with a boy, but there is a part of me that wonders are we really done. This pregnancy has been reall...

Re : New and Nervous!!

I had eclampsia and HELLP at 27wks and my DD is now also 5 and about to enter kindgergarten. We did the testing for underlying disorders and doctor consultations before trying again. I am currently 35wks pregnant with DS and so far we have not had any issues. Good Luck!

Re : Looking for hope and advice - Update

<t>I hope your 2nd opinion doctor actually listens to you this time. I hate when doctors don't listen or think just because you did your own research they still know more then you do. TTC is a hard decision and you don't need a doctor who could care less. My DH and I decided when TTC to not tell any...

Re : Pre-e in 2nd pregnancy - questions.

<t>I had sudden eclampsia and HELLP at 27wks. I am currently 35wks pregnant with DS and have not had any real issues with this pregnancy. My BP has always been in a good range and has not gotten high at all. Just recently I've started to get some swelling but only in my feet and it goes down at nigh...

Re : Tubal

<t>I'm having a tubal when I get my c-section, had to sign for consent before I hit 32wks. For the longest time we figured DH would be getting cut, but since I am going to get cut for a c-section, might as well do the tubal at the same time. I've heard having it done at c-section doesn't effect reco...

Re : 27 wks tomorrow-In L&D

Good luck, I had my DD at 27wks due to undiagnosed PE, she was only 1lb 9oz when born. She is now a healthy happy 4yr old, turning 5 next week and starting kindergarten! Girls are fighters and I'm glad your docs are keeping a close eye on you. Will keep you in our prayers, good luck!!

Re : naps

<t>My DD is 4, will be 5 next week and she still naps ocassionally. I've found that 2x a week is usually the best if we can get it. She is in her bed for like 2hrs, but not always sleeping the whole time. I've found if we go an entire week without at least one nap she will have a mid-day or a nighti...

Re : 25w3d

<t>Congrats, I am also more pregnant then I've every been. I hit 33wks tomorrow and everything has been going smoothly. Only now just started some mild swelling in my feet. It is so weird to be going through all these "new" pregnancy symptoms that I never got to go through before. Just another few w...

Re : Questions about HELLP

<t>You will want to get a consultation with a Maternal Fetal Medicine / Perinatologist and make sure they test for any underlying conditions that might effect your subsequent pregnancies. I think for HELLP there is general reocurrence rate of 5%, HELLP is less common in 2nd pregnancies but it still ...
