Re : Parenting help or behavioral specialist?
<t>Thank you all - this is helpful. I have also heard from several folks, including the ped, that young children often exhibit the most behavioral issues with their mom. I think I'll look in to this arena of child behavior/development. The ped suggested parenting classes, but honestly, I think I'm a...

Is the reference to CRP the same as "protein C"?

Parenting help or behavioral specialist?
<t>I'm trying to figure out the best source of help in dealing with some of Malcolm's ongoing behavioral issues. I've read books, talked with the pediatrician, and yet I'm not getting a handle on some of his aggressive, angry behavior and tantruming that he directs only at me (he's polite and behave...

Re : SB 850 - certificate of still birth
Thanks for the update! I just went to the State Office of Vital Records web site, filled out the simple form, and I'm mailing it in with the fee tomorrow. I was glad to see that certificates of still birth are set forth on the web site as one of the documents a person can get.

The PE Quilt from 2007
<t>Hi - Rosemary has shared that the folks who bought the PE quilt at Saving Grace last year have used it to make note cards to offer to their employees and donate funds to the foundation. I also had this odd situation occur where my DH was visiting that company on business, and someone he talked wi...

Re : Almost 1, and still not mobile???? -- Update
<t>Hi there. My nephew has been evaluated and is continuing to get tests. He had an MRI and some other develpoment testing that was noninvasive and apparently involved observation of his movement and response to stimulus. I know that he has benefitted greatly from physical/occupational therapy as we...

Re : Stopping the Comparisons...
<t>I just had to add in the vote on boys marching to a different beat. Malcolm is so amazingly different than my good friend's daughter born around the same time. I've caught myself often comparing them along the way - it is truly silly because they are just different. What I have found is that when...

Re : Preeclampsia Blurb in Parenting Magazine...
I just saw this today - I didn't like it actually because it doesn't include a caution that no one should take baby aspirin while pregnant unless they consult their doctor. The blurb is a little bit too much of a "do this" and you'll avoid PE. Too simplistic.
