Re : Hope For Preeclampsia Victims

<t>Caryn - I'm curious about whether this drop in hormone has anything in common with what I believe is a hormone drop that is linked to migraine headaches in women? I've been a migraine sufferer, and it wasn't until my early 20s that a neurologist explained that some women suffer migraines triggere...

Re : My son died I DIDN'T have a miscarriage ...

Someone told me they were sorry about my "miscarriage" and it made me crazy. People are sooo clueless. I agree with you - both are difficult and sad, but they aren't the same.

Re : Questions on the creator..

<t>I love how you wrote about God connecting us with different fragments of our lives that we don't understand. I have also had this sense that after losing a child, God/the universe/somebody owed me some good times. The loss of a child is so incredibly senseless. There's simply nothing positive to ...

Re : Stretching Exercises may reduce risk of PE

<t>Okay, did I miss something? What existing studies and literature suggest that rigorous exercise is the most effective way to reduce the risk of PE? Certainly they don't mean rigorous exercise during pregnancy, do they? And if not, then they must mean rigorous exercise prior to pregnancy? I've nev...

Re : Questions on the creator..

<t>I saw your post and noticed the time - you are up late! I don't know of websites on God/higher power/creator, but I thought it might be worth sharing my experience. When I was pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I had started to occassionally attend a local church, but not so much that we k...

Re : From out of Nowhere

<t>Hey there - just wanted to say that I am completely unwilling to "get over it" and I feel that the occassional experiences of being overwhelmed with grief, especially on Amelia's birthday, help me stay in touch with my precious little angel. I don't enjoy feeling grief, but I appreciate what it d...

Re : the role of bedrest on the prevention of htn preg

<t>This is fascinating in that one of the two docs I had seen felt that bedrest would not be helpful to me at all in preventing PE in a second pregnancy. I did do modified bedrest at 16 weeks until about 36 weeks - if nothing else, the reduced stress of work I think made my overall outlook brighter!...

Re : Joining you here- need some suggestions.

<t>Human pin cushion! Well, that sounds a little drastic. I used lovenox injections starting at week 8 in my second pregnancy. It took some getting used to, as I'm pretty squeamish with needles, but it wasn't too bad. And of course the end result made it worth the effort.<br/> <br/> I hope you get s...

Re : Anticardiolipin antibodies and LDA???

<t>Hi - I'm no expert other than in my own experiences - but I took both LDA and lovenox in my second pregnancy. I recall the MFM saying something like what Kara said - that the LDA works somewhat differently than the lovenox to prevent clotting. For some reason I remember something about LDA keepin...
