Re : *update* Am I overreacting about blood disorder?
<t>Hi there. I just wanted to contribute my experience to all this. I found the whole diagnosis of a clotting disorder to be distressing and confusing. I have ACA + and positive for LA. But my levels of ACA were sort of moderate and there was some other oddball indicator (speckling?) that resulted i...

Incomp cervix?
Anyone here know about this issue? I have a friend who is dealing with this and she's just 21 weeks. No PE issues, but the situation seems grave considering how early she is. I am wondering if there are things they can do to prolong the pregnancy.

Re : Anybody else's child allergic to wheat??
<t>Gloria - Malcolm is not allergic to wheat per se. I haven't gotten him tested, but I have found that when he's getting too much gluten it results in some pretty wacky behavioral issues for us. When I work hard at limiting his gluten intake, Malcolm's behavior is pretty decent for a three year old...

Re : 2008 Quilt - Information - UPDATE!!! 7/26
Rosemary - My square went into the mail today and I sent you an email pic last night. Will you have enough? If you need "filler" squares I'd be happy to do a generic square (pictures or words, but no names) if you can give me another week.

Rosemary - I'm close to being done, but my sewing machine is on the fritz and I have to finish a bit with handstitching. You will have it close to the 1st. It looks very cute.

Re : Andrew's reflux ... HAPPY UPDATE!!
<t>Malcolm had a horrible time with reflux. He was on a variety of meds - zantac, prevacid, I think another one too. He is also allergic to cow's milk protein, as well as soy. Since my milk supply was pretty low, I supplemented and had luck with Nutramigen. It is similar to Allimentum, but I think a...

Re : Grief vs. Postpartum..
<t>Rosemary's explanation is very similar to what I experienced. Grief emotions for me swallowed up the hormonal emotions, swirled all together and became one big mess of being sad/depressed/angry/weak/nutty. I've always thought that the concept of grief as a spiral that has overlapping curves is a ...
