Today is Brandon's due date....

<t>I can't help but be sad. Today is the day that Brandon was due, and he's already been in this world for 5 weeks! I know that I shouldn't be sad because I have a healthy baby home with me. But I guess I'm sad because I feel that I missed out on a perfect, full-term birth yet again, and there will ...

Re : My results are......... *UPDATE*

<t>Denise - have you been tested for clotting disorders? My sister miscarried and then found out about the blood clotting issues, so she started Lovenox immediately in her next pregnancy and got to 35 weeks. Lovenox did wonders for me, too, in my second pregnancy. Since you have had two miscarriages...

Re : ER visit - need your opinions

<t>I also have factor V and had to have a CAT scan at 14 weeks because they thought I had a pulmonary embolism. Turns out I was allergic to the antibiotic I was on for a UTI. I did have other episodes of shortness of breath and numb fingers, which I attributed to panic attacks. I don't know if that ...

Re : My results are......... *UPDATE*

<t>Oh, Denise - I am sorry to hear this. While they are not doubling, they are increasing, so that's a little bit of good news, right? I hear you about the age thing. I don't know why it took me so long to get started, and then I waited for 8 years to have baby number 2. I now realize that if I had ...

Re : Michelle Duggar emergency c-section

I had my gallbladder removed last year. My mom had hers removed a couple of years ago. She had 7 babies, and the doctor could not believe she kept her gallbladder after all those years. She said the more babies you have, the more problems you will likely have with your gallbladder.

Re : Great cardiologist appt!

Great news! Glad you have a good cardiologist. Mine treated me like I had the plague because I was pregnant. He totally hated having me in his office, and I never went back! Congrats on a good appointment :)

Re : 34 weeks and still cooking

Keep on cookin', sister! BTW, my 8 year-old had fifth's disease at the end of my pregnancy, too, and I was sure that I had caught it because I was red everywhere! But baby and I both turned out fine. Congrats on getting so far!

Re : Who should be managing my condition post-delivery?

<t>Boy, that sounds familiar....<br/> <br/> My bp was still way up after a week so my MFM adjusted my meds but wanted me to see my primary care doc. The primary doc adjusted them again, and now I am 4 weeks pp and am finally getting close to normal, although the bottom number is still up.<br/> <br/>...

Re : Thank you all...

I'm one of those girls that regrets getting my tubes tied. I wish I would have gone with an IUD instead. It's your choice, but from what I have researched, it is hard to get the tubes undone. I wish you the best of luck.

OMG!! GREAT news!!! My Hcg levels were low with Brandon and did not increase as expected. My OB was sure I would miscarry, but here he sits with me, one month old today!
