Re : 32 weeks and all is well *now 33 weeks on 9/30*

Today I am 33 weeks and my bp's are still normal. I had another liver panel drawn yesterday but my urine looks good, baby is in the 72nd% and almost 5 pounds. I have a tentative delivery date of Nov 1. Just one more month. WooHoo! Thank you all again for your prayers.

Re : 32 weeks and all is well *now 33 weeks on 9/30*

<t>Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts and prayers. We even survived Hurricane Rita with baby staying inside mommy's tummy. SO I figure the next 6 weeeks is all downhill from here. Guess I really should start on the nursery. They will be taking the baby via C-Section at 38 weeks if we m...

32 weeks and all is well *now 33 weeks on 9/30*

<t>Today I am 32 weeks which according to my perinatologist is 98% viable. I can't believe it. I am so thrilled. I have not had a bp med increase in 2 months and my bp's are still in the 120's over 70's. My last 24 hour urine actually came back better than the one before and the baby is still big an...

Re : How long after an emergency c-section?

<t>Debbie, I am so sorry for the loss of your baby. I too lost my baby at 24 weeks and had a classical incision. I was told to wait a year and we actually waited 18 months. Classical incisions take longer to heal and are at greater risk of rupture because the incision goes across the grain of the ut...

Re : Can I scream?

<t>SEx, nipple stimulations, walking are all good physical inducters. There are some herbs called blue cohash and black cohash. Also evening PRimrose oil are herbal remedies that can help jump start labor. I would not take the cohash unless you can talk to an herbologist or homeopath for dosages. HT...

Re : Chronic Hypertension and Bedrest?

<t>I have chronic hypertension and it was not managed at all in my first pregnancy which led to severe pre-e, HELLP and the death of my daughter. I did a pre-conception consult with my OB and a cardiologist and I went on meds before getting pregnant to bring my bp down. I fax my bp's to my cardiolog...

Yesterday's perinatologist appointment

<t>We went to the perinatologist yesterday and baby boy Casteel has jumped from the 59th% to the 79th%. I have plenty of amniotic fluid, the placenta looks good, no blood clots in the umbilical cord and becasue I have been testing my blood sugars as well as blood pressures, they are confident that t...

Re : Yeast Infection/s & Pregnancy

<t>Unfortunately Suzie is right, Diflucan is not safe during pregnancy. In addiiton to the creams, eat lots of yogurt and if you can cut out as much refined sugar and flour out of your diet, you will give the yeast less to feed on. I had a yeastie and Vaginosis at the same time. I was using creams f...
