Re : Work or not to work, suggestions?
<t>I have a very stressful job as well. I went off call the moment I found out I was pregnant. Then I went out of work at 20 weeks. My BP was rising, my protein was just under the cut-off for PE and I was having more and more high pressure readings. My doctor didn't seem to feel I really needed the ...

Re : Out of the hospital/Mild PreE
<t>Hi Jill,<br/> <br/> Yeah, they absolutely may keep you at every appointment from now on. For me - I went to my 29 week appt and got admitted the antenatal unit. Then discharged 2 days later. At my 30 week appt I was readmitted again for 3 days - then discharged. Then at around 31 weeks I was admi...

Re : Heartbeat at 5 weeks?
I saw heartbeats both times at 6 weeks 0 days. I had a u/s this last pregnancy at 5 weeks 3 days and all that was seen was the sac and the yolk sac. It was deemed a threatened miscarriage because I was having some spotting - 3 days later we see the little flicker :)

Re : No more children?
<t>such a hard decision! I am 95% sure Lou will be our only living child. after losing vincent at 22 weeks, then being hospitilized with Lou at 29 weeks, I just don't think I could do it. I would love to have another, and my OB did tell me to be in touch if we ever want to go again. My reason for no...

Re : gas pains?
<t>lou had something similar happen. I pumped and he had 1-2 formula bottles a day as well. He would turn purple and scream while he was farting - poor man. I switched him to the enfamil gentlease and he has been fine since day 1 - no more purple gasy man. good luck I hope a formula change may help ...

Re : 24 Hour Urine?
<t>My baseline was 206 at 9 weeks. I was really worried - but it stayed in the mid-upper 200s until 29 weeks. My MFM did in fact consider me as having PE when my urine went to 350 mg ( he said he doesn't subtract the baseline).<br/> <br/> It wasn't until a few weeks after that that I started dipping...

Re : placenta pathology
<t>oh don't get my wrong.. no hurry to TTC here at all! Infarcts are areas of essentially dead tissue - usually caused by blood clots. <br/> <br/> Julija, I think the small placenta is related to PE. Usually small placentas are indicitive of IUGR or at least placental insufficiency. I think once the...
