Re : Experience with Anxiety Meds while Pregnant?

<t>Hi there. I was prescribed an anti-anxiety medication called 'Propranolol' here in the UK, from 8 weeks of pregnancy, and I can honestly say it worked really well for me, and took the edge of my panicky feelings very quickly. I only took a low dose - 40mg a day - but it worked a treat, and had th...

Baby arrived! ... a year after loss

<t>Hi everyone. I just wanted to update and say I gave birth on 4th December to a little girl at 36.5 weeks. I had placenta problems again so she was only 4.5lb but no pre-eclampsia this time!!!!! I put it all down to the lovenox and bed rest in this pregnancy.<br/> <br/> It is bittersweet as it com...

Re : lost my little boy.

<t>I am so sorry to hear this sad outcome to your story - my heart goes out to you. When I lost my little boy last Christmas at 24 weeks, I think explaining it to his 4 year old brother was one of the hardest things we had to face. Like others have said, being honest but explaining it simply (we sai...

Swine flu vaccination

I was just wondering whether any pregnant ladies here have had the swine flu vaccine and if so whether you had a reaction? Here in the UK we are getting appointments to have it now and there has been a lot of controversy over safety in pregnancy. I'd be grateful for any views.

Re : SAD UPDATEIs this likely to end as a miscarriage?

So sorry to hear this Jules, it's such a horrible thing to go through. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks and also a loss at 24 weeks and both felt like huge losses to me, so can relate to your pain. Life seems to unfair sometimes. Thinking of you.

Re : appts tomorrow~~ UPDATED

<t>Best of luck with your appointments Jamie. I've been following your journey because it seemed to mirror what happened to me last December. I have sjogren's syndrome, in the lupus family, and am also anti-ro & anti-la (and RH pos) so have been watched for heart block too so can relate to that....

Re : spotting during ealry pregnancy?

<t>Hi, I'm sorry you're going through this but hope you can try not to worry. I experienced spotting in my first pregnancy, at around 7-8 weeks for a week and it was very frightening, so I understand where you are coming from. My son was absolutely fine despite all my worrying! I think the cause mus...

Re : poor circulation and preeclampsia?

<t>Hi, I don't know for sure either but anecdotally I have always had terrible circulation too - freezing cold extremities even when the rest of me is warm ... I've had PE twice so far and have also wondered whether there is a connection between this and circulation = both are blood related afterall...

Re : Previous caesarean scar pain

Thanks all - it is reassuring to know it is quite common. Caryn - yes, 'adhesions' - that is what the doctor called them ... they've put me on codeine so hopefully that will help.
