Re: Pre-e 2nd pregnancy. Stupid doctors

I agree with Caryn as well. Please find a hospital with a level 3 NICU and get there ASAP. I don't understand why that hospital would let you leave with a B/P and protein levels that high. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Re : Just sad seeing other women pregnant

<t>It has been 1 year and almost two months since I lost Jasper and it still feels like I am being kicked in the stomach every time I see a pregnant woman. I also feel like I'm being kicked in the stomach when someone mentions they got their BFP. After having 4+ years of Infertility finally getting ...

Re : I need help on what to ask my Hematologist

<t>That's wonderful you found a wonderful Hematologisy. Mine is the best. I'm a little afraid to see his reaction to the blood clot I had in Jasper's placenta. When I was pregnant with Jasper he was so proactive and wonderful. If it wasn't for him knowing to send me to the hospital with the high B/P...

I need help on what to ask my Hematologist

<t>I go see him tomorrow and am wondering if there is anything that I may be forgetting to ask. I will be asking him about my lower than normal platelet counts and why did Jasper's placenta develop a blood clot if I was on Lovenox? I will also be asking him about some blood work that I should get do...

Re : What is your family history vs yours?

As far as I know I'm the first one one either side to get Pre-e/HELLP. My husbands grandma (his mothers mom) did have a still born at six months, but she never wanted to talk about it so we don't know and will never know the cause.

Re : Test for HELLP?

I was just coming here to ask the same question. It would be so awesome if there is a test to check for genetic factors for HELLP. I will have to ask to get tested for Antiphospholipid syndrome because I can't find it it all my blood work I had done.

Re : platelet counts on the lower side of normal?

<t>Thank you Jamie, This is sadly not a one time thing. I keep all my lab reports and was looking through them and noticed that even before Jasper they were always on the low side on normal. I'm going to see my Hematologist in April and will be sure to ask him about this and if there is anything we ...

platelet counts on the lower side of normal?

<t>Hi all, I'm fairly new to these forums. I lost my son Jasper in March of 2009. I have been activly ttc his brother or sister since Sept with no luck. I was just wondering because I'm very nervous about this because my platelet counts are on the lower side of normal and was wondering if anyone els...
