Re: Has anyone ever had severe PE twice in a row?

Christa, I think it was a combo of both. With the 2nd, I started with LDA very early pg per my MFM recommendation. Then around the 22 weeks or so, I went on procardia since my bp was starting to creep up. Then around 26 weeks, I was hospitalized and put on bed rest until delivery because I was star...

There isn't much I can say that will make you feel less pain. Please find comfort in that you are not alone and we understa...

Re: Has anyone ever had severe PE twice in a row?

Yes- I had it twice...not only that I had PE with HELLP each time. The second time was slightly less severe and I lasted a little longer pg and my beautiful DD was born. She is almost 2 and is perfect! The main thing I did different with my 2nd pg was working directly with the MFM at the beginning ...

Bummed about her weight at 18 mos

I can't help it...even though my dd is happy and healthy and on her own curve...I was really bummed to hear her weigh in at 18 months was 17.6lbs. I was hoping she would break 20...at least. She eats fine...loves her fruit and veggies and iron levels are good (no anemia). Eat meat when she feels li...

Re: Huge Set Back with My Baby

I am so sorry to hear this. How frustrated you must feel. It sounds like she is on the road to recovery and that the doctors can provide treatment. Did they say why she got sick?

Sending prayers and hugs...keep us posted and hang in there.

shoes for skinny feet?!

My former 28 and 5 day weeker is now almost 18 months (about 15 1/2 corrected). She is a skinnly little thing barely weighing 20 lbs but growing on her own curve and long! Anyway, I noticed most shoes seems to be too wide for her. Any recommendations or thoughts for shoes? She is a size 5 to 5 1/2....

Re: Bottles and Pacifiers

My baby girl loved the Soothie pacifiers (i that is what the hospitals use too). She didn't like any others.

Bottles: She liked the Avent and the Playtex Drop In bottles/nipples.

Re: Anybody have a baby 23 weeks or earlier???

I had and lost my baby girl at 23 weeks. I got pg again about 6 months later and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at 28 weeks and 5 days. Definitely not ideal pg again but she is now 16 months and is doing wonderful and very healthy. The second time around, my peri was my OB and I was on procardi...
