Re: Pre-e 2nd pregnancy. Stupid doctors

Most everyone has posted what I would recommend you do. I might even go to the ER at the big/NICU/University/teaching hospital and tell them that you have a history of PreE, that you are concerned about your high blood pressure and not being on meds, that you are having secondary symptoms. But mostl...

Re : starting to feel like the boy who cried wolf

<t>No no no, I had this too with my second. Got sent home once but ended up back in the hospital the next day. Every time I got into the hospital the BP's would plummet. Just because they went down, we (drs and I) didn't blink and stayed the course. <br/> <br/> BP's swinging around wildly is not nor...

Re : night time feeding question...

<t>I have no idea how much Christopher eats. If he's hungry, he takes a bottle and that's that. If he is tracking on a growth chart (i.e. not falling off where he was before) I would not worry at all! He sounds precious, and sleeping 4 hours is great! I bet he'll be sleeping through the night in ano...

Re : UPDATE: soon to be mom of 34 week little angel

Per my signature, my 34 weeker was home in 11 days. She had no complications besides a little jaundice. And I got the shots before she came. Good luck to you!

Re : TTP and HELLP

<r>Have you been to this website...this is a link to an abstract about TTP and PreEclampsia. I see why you are confused. I certainly don't have the answer for you, but if I were faced with a diagnosis of TTP, I would want specific answers as it apparently can recur. Good luck!<br/> <br/> <URL url="h...

Re : Still hospitalized HELLP Survivor??

<t>I don't have any answers for you, except to say, please, please, please, be good to yourself. Breastfeeding is a wonderful thing, but lots of us have had a hard time with it, even being relatively healthy. You've been through the wringer. It's ok to do whatever you need to get yourself better. Ac...
