I also had BPs in the 160s/100s a few weeks post partum, even on meds. It took about 6 months to stabilize , and while I've been able wean down my dosage, I haven't been able to come off my medication completely.

thanks everyone... happy to add my BP was 130/80 at my regular OB appt. today... which is back to my baseline and a big improvement over the 150/80 they got last time. He'll check me again in 2 weeks and hopefully my pressure will still be stable!

19 week ultrasound

so the big ultrasound today showed that all looked very well, and we will be adding a third boy to our family!!! seeing him happy and healthy up on the screen was such a HUGE relief for me... and my son's are thrilled they will have a new little brother!
