Three Years
Three years ago yesterday (Jan.28) our baby girl went to Heaven. I did not have typing this yesterday in me. The week leading up to yesterday was hard (as always) but this year we have a 6 month old little boy. So yesterday, my wife, myself, and Wyatt did "Emmy things" ... including taking in a pupp...

Re: Anybody have a baby 23 weeks or earlier???
Jean, we started by going to a high-risk doctor in Pittsburgh. Chrissy was put on a daily aspirin along with her prenatals. We have more frequent appontments and more sonograms checking for growth, etc.
I believe going to a high risk doctor and the baby aspirin made a big difference.

Re: Anybody have a baby 23 weeks or earlier???
I know it is not 23 weeks but I want to offer you some encouragement. My wife had our daughter at 28 weeks 5 days. We had Emma for 5 months before she passed away in Jan 2008.
This summer my wife made 39 weeks. Our son, Wyatt, is almost 5 months old and doing well.

Re : Grief Counseling
<t>We tried a few different methods of grief support. There is actually an infant loss support group that meets in Pittsburgh. We drive a little over an hour each month to attend the monthly meeting. That has been the most helpful source to us. The group helps us recharge each month and helps us to ...

Re : Wyatt is here
<t>The reason for the C-Section was the umbilical cord dropped into the birth canal with him. It was not around his neck but none of us wanted to take any chances. The doctor that delivered Wyatt was one of Emma's delivery team. She knew our history and was absolutely wonderful through the entire pr...

Wyatt is here
Wyatt Lee Keller was born 39 weeks, 5 days. He is 6lbs. 12oz. He is 19 inches long. He was born yesterday at 6:02am. He was delivered C-Section but that was the only hiccup. Chrissy's (4evermyangel) final blood pressure was 135/100 but she did not develop Preeclampsia this pregnancy. YEAH!
