Re : Platelet Question
Thanks everyone. I definetly did not develop HELLP or pre-e this time. My OB was just being extra cautious due to my history.

Re : Platelet Question
My platelets took another fairly significant "dip" so to be on the safe side Abigail Marie was delivered via c-section on April 7 :). She was 9 lbs 1 oz and perfect. She's started to develop a touch of jaundice so we're watching her carefully. Other than that we couldn't be happier.

Thank-you for the reply. The platelets have just made me uneasy. I guess I just need to learn to sit back and enjoy a relatively uncomplicated pregnancy.

Re : Platelet Question
Sorry its 118000, 125000, and 120000. So I know they are too low. I don't know how I managed to miss the "1" in all three of those numbers. That's what I get for posting a message too early in the morning.

Platelet Question
<t>I developed HELLP syndrome during my failed induction with my son. My platelets went from low (110000) to dangerously low (60000) in a matter of hours. Now in the last couple weeks my platelets have started to decrease again. They were 18 went back up to 25 and now there back down to 20. The rest...

Would you be concerned?
<t>I havn't posted much on this forum this pregnancy because I havn't had to, but lately some of my blood pressure readings have me concerned. They've jumped from an average of 120/75 to 135/85 with a reading this morning of 133/87. I know they are still in normal range but the trend is worrisome. <...

Re : Pregnant again
<t>I had that appointment and the notching was gone. He gave my a 30% chance of having blood pressure "issues" but only a 5% chance of developing pre-e again. <br/> <br/> I've been kind of nervous though. My diastolic pressure has been great for me(75-80's) but my systolic has been creeping up (130-...

Re : Pregnant again
<t>Just checking in. I'm almost 24 weeks and still no signs of pre-e!! My blood pressure is normal, and my little GIRL is growing right on track. I have started dipping trace proteins which is worrisome but my doctors are trying to reassure me that can be completely normal. Oh well....I suppose I wi...

Re : Frequency of appointments?
My appointments were monthly up until 13 weeks or so, now they're weekly. It's a pain but i'm glad they're following me closely
