Re : Heart Palpitations

Thank you. I will make an appointment with my doc. I am Nervous Nellie, but it seems that all of you have them, and they said they were normal. So thanks for eliminating some of the anxiety. :)

Although, PE free with him, I did have HELLP/Severe Pe with my first pregnancy. She is still a peanut, but she's your typical 4 year old nowadays. <br/> <br/>...

Re : Eye issues/strabismus

<t>In my recent experience...the pediatric opthmalogist said that in order to get an accurate reading of a kids eyes, they have to be dilated.<br/> <br/> I did not know this and went to my optometrist first, and he did a regular old vision test. He ended up prescribing glasses for my 3 yr old. (She ...

Re : Strabismus?

<t>Thank you all for your posts...it turned out to be that she has what they call pseudostrabismus. It gives the allusion that the eye is turning or crossing, but in reality the bridge of the nose is too flat and wide. This flat bridge covers the inner part of the white of her eye as she looks in a ...

Re : Non-responsive NST - Update

<t>I posted this same question a few months ago...and I was a little freaked too. After about 35 weeks things perked up a bit for my little guy, and we rarely had a nonreactive test anymore. I always drank cold water during the test, and that really helped.<br/> <br/> And my little guy is the "chill...

Re : Any subsequent pregnancies w/out pe or e?

I had severe PE and HELLP in my first pregnancy and was emergency c/s at 34 weeks.

My second pregnancy was PE and HELLP free. I was put on precautionary bedrest at 32 weeks, and delivered (repeat c) at 39 wks as another precaution as well.

Baby Micah's Birth Story

<t><br/> We arrived at the hospital Wednesday morning and it was so weird because it was so calm! Got dressed, lab work, IV...I walked, yes walked, into the Operating Room in L&D. Had the spinal block, and laid down for the C section. Meanwhile having a detailed discussion about all the nurses' ...
