Re: How reliable are non-stress tests?

I would request an ultrasound just to really see what is going on. I don't want to create fear because my story is certainly not the norm but my daughter's NSTs were all ok too and we had an unfavorable outcome.

My last baby had an irregular heartrate on a few of my BPPs and he was also born somewhere between 34-35 weeks. He spent 18 days in the NICU. He was only really there for hypertension and because he wouldn't eat. He only had the irregular heartbeat once during the 18 days he was monitored after bein...

My 35 weaker started sleeping through the night at about 6-8 weeks. He was not yet 10 lbs at that time. He still sleeps all night and has not had any problems. I say enjoy the sleep!:)

Re: trying to get a grip

I am so sorry you are already worrying. I was not able to relax until my baby was born and I could see with my own eyes that he was safe and sound. I am not usually a worrier but with the pregnancy I could not seem to help it. I made sure my Dr was aware of my anxiety about the pregnancy and birth a...

Re: IUGR Moms

My middle child was IUGR but it was not caught due to less than ideal medical care. You can go to my blog to read the enrite story. I am not into Dr bashing because I think most of them intend to do no harm but they just get in over their heads and don't know when to ask for help. Looking back at he...

Re: 22 Weeks, BP up - any positive experiences

Im my last pregnancy I was on meds from the start. I was on labetelol. I do not rememebr the dose. At 20 weeks my pressures shot up. The labetelol would no longer do the trick no matter what the dose. I was switched to nifedepine. It worked great for quite some time but my pressures finally became u...
